I understand what your saying blurrt.

However Dr daz posts were/are interesting and explain things I do/did not understand. I am happy to keep reading them should he deign to post.

Did Dr Daz influence my buying with his seemingly expert opinion's? Sure he did. Who's fault is it for doing so? Nobody's but mine. I got sucked into the whirlwind opinion hype, not only from daz and some others, but from management as well.

I'm not blaming anyone though, well other than myself. I had an opportunity to take a profit and downsize my holdings to minimize my risk (in fact If I had downsized by two thirds the rest would have been @ 0.07, could have then got out at 0.12 and still made a profit) but I got greedy with such alleged certainty abounding. I'm kicking myself now in hindsight, however if it had gone the other way, then Champagne and extensive holidays all round. As I said, no one to blame but myself in the end.

It's a good lesson learn't, one I had already thought I had a facetious shell of protection to.

HC and some of it's posters can be and sometimes are good for information purposes and that is appreciated, both in the positive and negative information, as long as it is factual. Negative information has actually saved me some dollars. In that I did further research on some negative information, found it was based in fact and pulled out of a stock at a profit, the Company was called Gunns at the time.

In short, Dr daz will continue to get my readership on "factual data", which is as I said, appreciated.

As has been said time and time again all over this website. Making financial decisions on 'forum opinions' is a recipe for potential disaster and one does so at ones own risk. The way I take your point, is exactly that.

Fortunately in MEO what also swayed my purchasing was/is based in fact - the other potential sites MEO had/has and that all encompassing backstop on probabilities - Tassie Shoal. Now though I'll just save my excitement until there is a flame, gushing well or contract signed, whichever is applicable. For myself, the ride here is far from over, it may just take time to climb that hill again is all.

Good luck to you in whatever venture your now into, cheers.
