    Ain't that the truth.

Tin NEVER joins us if the discussion is about the technicalities of exactly how power is organised to meet peaks, or anything else that is too technical to be handled with a one liner."

I put up a post yesterday about asteroid strikes and how they have been ignored until very recently as a serious threat to life on Earth. This was basically an invitation for the warmist faction to defend the massive diversion of resources involved with the CAGW story(emphasis on the catastrophic)as opposed to what an asteroid strike would do. Or if an asteroid strike is deemed too exotic, a SME like the Carrington event would help to put us back into the 19th century in a week or two.
Didn't get a peep. Not that anyone here can demand replies to anything but I think that if the CAGW story really is about a real catastrophe then it is logical to rank it alongside other potential catastrophes and resources should be given to the most urgent,as a form of triage.

I would be more convinced of the veracity of the CAGW story if they could justify why their story is more worthy or urgent than an asteroid strike or SME. Of course they won't because they can't , which is why those of us who have been around the block a few times recognise it for the solely political campaign that it is.

    cheers
