The difference here is that things may well go near to the brink, but by expiry of the next deadline, there will be a negotiated resolution. On this, I have previously posted. I have also posted that I believe that an M-E backed peace /peacekeeping initiative brokered, of all nations, by France and by Britain, will still eventuate (see 28/01).
This is why I have been posting some of my other observations on the matter. Placing matters into context and trying to determine what price will be extracted for varying levels of support (etc).
