I have been reading about Salt Domes all afternoon. It is worth while learning about the history. Spindletop is fascinating. They drilled and drilled and had no money left. Finally they hit a gusher which blew crude oil 150 feet into the air and flowed at 100,000 bbls per day.

If they had drilled 50 metres away they would not have hit it. These salt domes , which are miles in diameter, drive up from below , fracturing rock but at the same time creating ideal seals to trap the prolific oil formed in the Taxas and Gulf of Mexico regions. The majors came in and drilled them almost to completion but todays technology is bringing a few of them back. There is a lot of oil left. Particularly on the flanks.

The Allen Dome is recognised as being under developed and under drilled. TTE has researched this in depth and whilst we had a duster to start with, this S2 drill has uncovered what is apparently the thickest oil sandstone in Texas Salt Dome history. Far out. I reckon we are onto something spectacular but hey, I am an optimist. And I have been wrong many times before.

And the beauty about this Company Maker is that we don't have to wait long. They are already preparing for production.

ps.Someone mentioned we only hit oil in three of the four sections. It was four out of four. The 5th, the deepest, was not drilled due to the risk of a pressure blow out.

    Good luck longs.
