Hi dust. I agree with you about Abbott. The point however is that in spite of the most unpopular Opposition Leader in history whom most would prefer was not the case will likely find his way into The Lodge.

    Why is so?

IMO entirely attributable to the unprecedented removal of a first term prime minister who had won a decisive victory against John Howard.

It was a weird decision that stunned many Labor supporters and created the divisions that currently exist.

IMO the only cleanout that will be acceptable to discerning Labor voters is cleaning out the perpetrators of that decision to remove Rudd. That stain wont be removed from voters thinking until they can readily see a united party. Given all the ministerial resignations imo they have got buckleys.

Recriminations and suspicion can only increase leading to a potential debacle on September14. This reminds me as to just how erratic and immature the current leadership is. Imagine calling the election date more than nine months out. To most voters imo it is inexplicable stuff as was the case with Rudds removal, Heads would have been scratching for sure. In any event too much head scratching winds up giving one a headache and imo voters have mainly switched off the current leadership and arent listening.

    Disappointing.
