V8 you need an initially nickel rich magma, which has the nickel dispersed through it, the key is the magma flowing out the volcano and through the sulphidic sediment which may 'soak up' the sulfur and once sulfur 'saturation' is reached in the magma the sulfides separate like oil and water, with the massive sulphides settling at the base of the magma flow.
They've got the strong soil response now which is what I was waiting for so I'm in now, lets see how we go here!
