Hi MP,
I have been in MMC for several years and have an average of .22. I own a few so am down a bit.
Having said this, i am supremely confident on MMC - surprisingly so given the odds of small miners making the big time.
I understand the frustration at the missed deadlines. They annoy me. BUT unlike many others on this thread i have interpreted differently. In my view view they have made the decisions as they see them in the best interests of shareholders.
Other than a missed deadline, i cant recall a negative report. Amount of copper tick, givernment support tick, experienced board tick, and so on and so on. I wouldnt swap an earlier DFS for any one of the really important issues eg. Amount of copper, capex, govt support, funding etc.
I am not a professional investor, but am not a mug. I have done my own research and quite a bit of it. I think the odds of an on time DFS (March2013) this time around is high and the likelihood of finance support is high and therefore the likelihood of a successful mine is high. Dont forget they were given an unsecured 10M last month by an investor. If that isnt a big vote of confidence. They obviously feel confident.
I dont expect anyone or everyone to agree with me, and to be honest i dont participAte in this thread for professional investment advice, but rather fun banter from likeminded and not so like minded individuals.
i understand the complexities of what Les and the team feam. Punctuality - not so good. Everything else - bravo.
Put my money where my mouth is and topped up this avo to take advantage of the announcement I expect will come either overnight or the following in Canada on the TSX.
I look forward to the inevitable exchange next week when Marengo have delivered or not.
