anyone care to comment on the brazil asset write off? i wonder how long ago it SHOULD have been disclosed and how they can get away with it by 'hiding' it in the accounts announcment. i would have thought it to be a material announcment which shareholders had the right to be made fully aware about. Not to stumble across it in the notes to the year end accounts.

i think the quarterly update prior to the year end accounts still had the brazilian assets as 'listed as production/exploration' assets by the ANP.

i am confused, or are they confusing us on purpose!?
