Are you seriously questioning David Murray's judgement? He is one of the most experienced economists in Australia and has been shown to be apolitical and a very steady hand in rough seas. If he says we are at risk of losing our credit rating, I believe him.

I would rather trust an individual who has been above reproach in his business life and whom my friends (who are bank economists) rely on for forecasts than the Ministry Of Economic Truth of the Gillard government (treasury who cant even get the MRRT calcs right).

If Australia is on credit watch by ratings agencies, there is obviously a problem.

Anyone who thinks the downgrade of Australia cant happen has his head in the clouds.
