I made some serious coin from contract consultant work with excel for mining companies about 10 years ago so to me it is a blessing however the recent versions that dont allow you to cut and paste in 2 simple clicks are a pain
DOS based systems rather than windows are better overall, takes about 3 hours to familiarise yourself with the F keys but after that its quick.
Agreed earlier versions of Windows was great as one could access the computer files easier to change preferances and work out folders easier. As a hint Can still access DOS on latest windows by pushing any button on start up.
