Thanks Kincella but the twisted bowel is not real yet.....only if (ever) it happens...which in the majority is never after these types of ops and the further away in time the better the odds so we where told....up yo 20% or so end up with some complication over the next 5 years or so.
My wife almost died on the way to hospital from a burst appendix 12 hours after being diagnosed and discharged as having a mild tummy virus...despite being doubled over in pain from it in hospital.
