You guys are still fighting the LAST war. NK cannot simply "lob" a nuke on Guam. The Yanks had the Patriot anti-missile missile in service over 30 years ago. They used them against the scuds being fired at Israel as I recall. They were a bit primitive then but how much could they be improved over that time?

Once the first missile lifts off it's pad any active radar in the north will have a missile down it's throat as occurred in Desert Storm. The Americans will have been planning for this day for decades and will have all the stuff needed already developed and deployed. A big infantry is just a big fat target if all the aircraft in the air are hostile and the NK airforce will only last minutes.

It won't be pretty but it won't take long either. The Yanks have no interest in winning 51 - 49 they want 99 zip.
