I forgot to suggest a scenario that links Summit and ICA into the story. Summit is advisor to PLV and has a private equity associated company in the form of ICA (associate likely means Summit has a minority stake in ICA and may have staff that work in both businesses). That's not unusual ie Consulting/advisory business that can feed work to an associated Investment business.

Scenario might be ICA provides some early (and thus higher ranked) short term credit to get PLV/WEG going. That funding falls due and requires repayment. PLV meets its portion of the call, but WEG does not. PLV arranges to sell WEG's share to a party that will meet repayment to ICA. Everyone wants this deal to go thru except WEG. ICA eventually forces it thru as per the first release yesterday.
