Mike could find a squillion tonnes of nickel out there but who is gonna fund it with the current nickel price and $A? Regrettably not a good environment for nickel at the moment.
Of course MY would be after the next big thing, who wouldn't be if you we're a geo, but him handing the reins over was, I believe, recognition that BC had matured (de-risked) and Morgan was the best man to wring its neck in a potentially tight environment which may or may not include M&A.
