South Australia has been involved in long range weapons testing and manufacture since the 1850s.
Including but not limited to the testing of nuclear weapons.

Between 1952 and 1963 the British Government, with the agreement and support of the Australian Government, carried out nuclear tests at three sites in Australia – the Monte Bello Islands off the Western Australian coast, and at Emu Field and Maralinga in South Australia.
We now manufacture ships and submarines which carry these weapons and have a very advanced radar system.
I learn recently from someone who works at nuclear weapons manufacting base in south australia that nuclear weapons are made here.
This makes Adelaide a target.
There has been a push to make South Australia a nuclear dump for years. This is inline with our nuclear aspirations. Its time to put a stop to the nuclear race in our back yard and take us off the target map.
