Will the young ones cave in ? No, they will eventually grow up and leave the shell of comfort that tells them they are entitled and then they will face the real world that does not have mum & dad's soothing protection.
They are no different to us when we grew up, we all meet the world at one point, the age that this happen is the variable for each of us.
