Well said (again) fatsho. Well said. And a dozen thumbs up in recognition mate.

Can I raise another aspect to do with the agenda of those who are out and about promoting this lemon of an excuse for a communications system being proposed by the Abbott (lol Joe & Co. mob? It is way past time that those who are backing this mob came up front and told us what they are really on about, about that is, apart from their political objective.

We all know how Telstra is well into the rip off. A hangover from the days of their monopolistic days. Now fiber to home removes Telstra from the scene and fiber to the node leaves them with a foothold. Telstra has been paid to close its copper system. Arrangements have been established for the takeover of Telstra's ducting and this brings them back to par with their competitors. Now we have the classic double dip on offer via the proposal of Abbott (lol Joe & Co.

"The Federal Opposition says it does not expect to pay Telstra for access to parts of its copper network but the Telco may be contracted for maintenance under its broadband internet plan. "'You give us your copper (lol) (Fat chance of this happening) and then we will ... as the NBN's fiber nodes are connected to that copper, those premises will be connected to the NBN and you will be paid the contracted amount." lol - yeah lol here there and everywhere = lol by the dozen.

It is crystal clear that this "plan" policy or whatever you could call it has bigger holes in it than my grandmothers pantyhose and that this should be apparent to all. So the question arises; why the support?

Time to come up front mateys. How many of you blokes hold Telstra stock? Be honest. How many of you bought into Telstra because you thought it would pay good dividends because of its monopolistic position/ Tell us what is going on and then we will be able to see the picture clearly.
