Dopey, "Where does this ever end? Come to think of it - i do not know of any central bank who ever exited QE...hmmm"

Can't recall a fiat currency system ever surviving either.

QE is now used as a political 'claytons' instrument, that's the fiscal policy you have when there isn't any fiscal policy.

Abe, Obama, Cameron and other politicians around the traps all "seem" to be doing something while really doing nothing. I can't see the average frugal Japanese voter availing themselves of a nice liquidity juices up bank loan to splurge though his/her economy.

And therein lies the problem, too much bank liquidity creates asset bubbles and as Dopey has said the carry trade into our markets will only end in grief.

The present situation is becoming so cute and complex that what you think is real isn't.

Everyone has opinion but no understanding.

Australia is stuck in a place not made through our own choosing and that adage 'if you can't beat them, join them' is foolish beyond belief.

One of our largest markets is quickly imploding in an area of the world that is becoming more unstable than the middle east.

Clear minds on this one people.
