Hmmm don't know if that's a "for sale sign" per se ?
Generally if IB's are brought on board for that reason they are more direct & will call it themselves ie "to negotiate the sale of the company".
Exploring & evaluating numerous opportunities with several companies wanting "access" to the platform sounds more like management have finally acknowledged after missed guidance year on year that they don't have the ability themselves to close these deals so have brought professionals in to take the reigns of negotiations ? Good move though.
