Rusia, your Kuwait s, Dubai s.... etc are doing nicely.... Brazil and most of STh America are flying even Cuba of all places... USA is on the move... eventually they'll get over their problems like most empires normally do until their number is up.. Europe is struggling... but countries like Ireland that were in deep trouble are reemerging on the brighter side... It's all good news comparing to a year ago...

Printing money?... it's always been like this... If things were like the bears paint it Gold would be 3000 bucks by now instead watch it go down to 1200 after the yanks sort out few of their fiscal problems (Technical)..
Australia should never be in this position....
without mining we would be in a deep recession.... And even with only 5 months to go before changing the guards we can still fall into one... it's bloody serious... As a lay person, when I see the asx can't get over 5000 when the Dow, Dax, Fts,japs and most indices are hitting highest levels.... I know something is wrong... I believe markets more than any politician... even if markets these days are a bit distorted by machines....
