Mojo,
Who has ever said their is No copper?
There was a build up of expectation ahead of that JORC, only to be dashed by some reality. That didnt help anyone.
Will there be another build up here as a result of initial digging?
All I say is dont get carried away.
The stockpile of ore so far is just 1.75 weeks worth of feed for the processing plant based on a 3mt plant and just 1 week on a 5mt plant.
A week or two of processing doesnt make a fantastic mine.
With no DFS, the only thing that can provide feedback for investors is a lengthy period of actual mine production. ie 6-12 months worth.
Clearly there will be sweet spots and it makes sense to dig there first and get the ore required to test all aspects of the installed equipment.
Drawing conclusions from the first 100,000 tonnes stockpiled could be filled with lots of potential errors for the long term.
Later in 2014 we all may have a far better idea of what is to be expected.
