The following article is quiet bullish regarding the Airth Project if approval is received from the council. I guess this is where the HSBC $100m is ear marked for.

On the other side this is another anti shale gas extraction story in Scotland. I think all these projects in the UK will be delayed / cost blowouts for years even if all approvals are granted with continuous protesting.
