Ha ha, now hes talking about the gold market - of which he hasnt a clue. None at all. His opinions and what he chooses to quote from otherse should only be used "for educational purposes"
He made his fortune last year by selling business specatator and eureka report to News Limited for $30m.
I like him very much but he is a journalist, first and last. His business is financial journalism. What the hell would he know about what is driving the gold price? He has never written on the gold market before. He is just being topical to pick up hits on his website., sorry, news limited's website.
When you listen carefully to big al on his sunday program you get the distinct impression his preparation is a lot less than it used to be. But he has given it away big time that he is out of the stockmarket, in my view. I would be surprised if he owned a single share.
