I didn't read it with the same gloom. Yes they have left plan b to now but are exploring all options with Vapanmivir.
It would be sad to see Vapanmivir go but if no one wants it then tough bikies.
BTA has already blown a fortune on Sucessful trials for a product no one wants. Maybe if they had expanded the patient group to include hep c or HIV sufferers it would of been seen as more trendy.
The big pharmas make so much money out of the common cold and asthma sufferers. Maybe they joined together to boycott Vapanmivir.
