you're drawing a long bow iron mike, Gonski isn't about North Korea it's about better opportunities for all students regardless of their socio economic background...a noble aim.
The problem as is often the case with this government is that they don't have the money. We'd all love NDIS and NBN and Gonski in a perfect world but where is the money coming from? Maybe if they'd been less spendthrift early on we'd have more in the kitty for such worthy ideals.
So to make ends partially meet they cut tertiary education...go figure the sense in that, I can't!
