The data will be presented to FDA for a change of label - IMO. This does have impact with the medical system in the US - IMO

To get medicare to pay for a procedure when off label is somewhat more difficult.

An FDA re label, for 1st line use, will in my opinion be the driver for the step wise increase in sales. The current increase in life expectancy in comparable to chemo in combination with bio. With an FDA label for 1st line it becomes somewhat easier to progress to 'standard of care'.

I've not researched Avastin and thus I accept your point, but I think this block buster is the exception to the rule. I'm not sure Siretx has the marketing $ that Roche had/has.
