Preliminary swab tests indicate potential production rates in excess of 100 BOPD. The well is undergoing further tests at the present time.
No oil production has ever been reported in the 100+ year history of the Blue Ridge Dome Field from the Jackson formation. The West Schenck B #116 is to be credited with the discovery of oil production in this formation. Testing will now be conducted to determine the sustainability of production flow from the reservoir.
It's been 1 week. Any thoughts as to how long such testing will take, and when oil will actually flow? I'm eager to know just how much greater than 100bopd this well will flow at. Aren't we all!?!?!
