Askier,

It is unfortunate that one of the biggest risks investors face today when contemplating whether to put their money into ASX listed stocks is trying to decipher whether movements in stock prices are created by transactions completed by "real" investors, who are investing for growth in the long term profitability of a company, or "electronic" investors who are seeking to manipulate stock prices for their own advantage. These “electronic” investors, seemingly backed by unlimited resources, are slowly destroying people’s confidence in the fairness of the market
i respectfully completely disagee with you
the only thing someone should think about when they buy a stock is whether it is going to go up or down, they should never think, hang on what if this is going to get manipulated by electronic investors, i better not buy.
think about it, if you firmly believe in the fundamentals of a company, or the charts, or in my case the momentum, then buy and hold.
you can only control what you can control, not what others, be they the big bad Bots, or manipulaters do. if the fundamentals are sound, then the price should reflect that in time. if not, then it wasn't sound to begin with.
i read all these posts from holders blaming everyone but themselves when it takes longer to post on Hot Copper than it does to sell a stock.
if you think AGO is sound, hold, if not sell, then get over it and move on.
P.S. i posted last week that i thought that IVC was a better buy than AGO but my post was moderated because they said i was ramping, no i wasn't, as it turned out to be.
