peace, I imagine this is one of those things whereby some folks will feel confused by the changes. The changes for me are not the piece of paper, or the change to the wording of marriage. Moreso, it is that 2/3 of Australians want it for us. That conservative politicians are now changing their views on the issue. Some won;t watch the youtube videos on the speech, and the singing when the vote was won, because they will find it so far from their own world view, that these seemingly old-fashioned looking politicians could feel so passionately about something they hate so much. I find those videos utterly affirming and indicative of change. That can be very challenging to people.
