Vertigo, You aren't listening. Aluminium, steel etc should be produced in countries with lower CO2 emissions per capita. Emissions per ton of metal produced are irrelevant. Its been peer reviewed.
Anyway countries like China, India and Indonesia won't have the first mover advantage that we do in reducing our carbon footprint. Our leadership in footprint reduction will make us the envy of the world, we will be leaders in Green Jobs.
