Selling today:
The volume traded was light and the seller dumping into 0.009 was most likely a shorter who decided news hasn't been timely enough and placed funds elsewhere on an up day.

Monash:
Reading all the ECT announcements and the comments by the HC crew I agree there could be some truth in the careful tactics employed in the Monash funding to ensure maximum ALDP funds from the govt.
There are two sides to the delay argument -
1.the last ECT update indicates the Monash transaction delay was in relation to the broader CDP and CSP and specifically in relation to the T's and C's around risk mitigation
2. recent conversations by Jacob with Giles has us believing the stalling in a blessing and increasing chances of ALDP funding success.
My opinion is that Monash could stump up more funds upfront if necessary but prefer that the maximum amount be provided by the govt. This is a careful negotiation between Monash and ECT because we know the greater the private/to public ratio the increased likelihood of success in the ALDP submission.
Despite the ratio consideration, I believe ECT and Monash know success will come in the ALDP submission as the VIC program REQUIRES a drying technology for its dirty brown coal. Hence, the game plan is for Monash to hold back and provide bare minimum in the CDP ratio NOW (thus mitigating risk in the proving process of the technology) but continue to get greater ownership in the company through the open $5M tranche placements which us shareholders will be approving at the supposed May EGM.

ECT Moving forward:
As Giles put it we are at the "pointy pointy end of this process". If you link all the ECT announcements the supply chain to technology coldry execution and success is well and truly in motion - from patent to partners to DFT to CEO change to ALDP to CDP funding to LV execution to Asia to Europe.
