this sounds very brainwashed about living peacefully

That is exactly what happened to my parents after WW2. they are NOT Jewish, They were expelled by the Russians, shown a gun and told to F* off, this is not your country anymore.

This has happened throughout history since the dawn of man.

my parents decided to get on with life and made a better life for themselves and their children, they didn't sit in a tent and moan and throw rocks in a vain attempt to improve their lot in life.

if someone doesn't like living in a Tent, then move. Their tent isn't the only place in the world, but the must travel light, take no baggage with them.
