All wars and trouble are caused by one thing and one thing only -------- economics.
They disguise very nicely as religious or political -- but in the end, it always comes down to one thing - economics and the power that wields.
Where religion is a fantastic tool is ------------ you can blame it on god ------------------
You do it in the name of god. It is the will of Alah or god's will or some other crap -------------- anything will do - as long as it is not the facts.
Other tools of use - often under religion (always under belief) ------ dehumanisation and then hatred.
Facts, however, unfortunately, are a bugger.
Facts get in the way of a good story - but no more so than economic facts driving you into battle.
Read history ----------- it is littered with proof.
All to do with power, all to do with economics, all to do with wealth.
Bugger all to do with religion, politics, race or anything else.
It's called human nature.
