    Glug says
"It's quite possible Gillard wasn't with Blewitt when signing the POA, or maybe she genuinely does not recall that specific occasion, (no reliable source either way)."

Glug you and Julia no doubt hope there is no reliable source to set the scene for us either way.

Perhaps Olivia Palmer nee Brosnahan {the S&L legal secretary at the time] may have given Vic. Police reliable source info or data during their recent lengthy meeting.
Perhaps she also kept a diary and still has it.

I have read she is a very thorough secretary and an impeccable bookkeeper.
She [Olivia B] was the person who wrote the letter to Bruce Wilson asking to be provided with the actual physical POA before she could go ahead with the conveyancing and subsequent transfer of the property into Ralph Blewitt's name.
How did she know to write the letter to Bruce Wilson re the POA if it was being bought in REB's name under a POA?
Perhaps Bruce W's girlfriend [Julia G'] told Olivia B at work those details [about who to see about getting the POA from] after Julia and Bruce had attended the auction and then Bruce W' flew to Perth to get REB's signature on the document.

Perhaps other S&L staff have good memories of the period and the particular date in question.
