"If you think today's kids are so dysfunctional because of their parents then who taught their parents?
The so called teaching profession has a lot to answer for as a result of the damage it's done preaching the left wing social agenda instead of teaching."
I'm from that generation and I certainly would not go blaming the teachers.
Blame the parents who thought they knew better than how their parents and teachers taught/disciplined them.
In those days (I finished year 12 in 1983), teaching was teaching, no new wave politically correct forced notions, and likewise with parenting.
Can you imagine little Suzie being given after school detention today? Big Suzie will be complaining how her schedule to pick u little Johnnny will be shot and she still can't get to the shops (after the massively extended hours) to pop her hubby's dinner in the microwave. And she needs extra time to pick up another XBox because little Suzie and Johnny don't like the PS or the WI. And the school will be forced to get bigger parking bays because Big Suzie's soccer mum 4WD doesn't fit...lol
Get a grip...the blame sits squarely with the parents. To blame the teachers or government is the biggest cop out of the century.
