Don't agree with all that you've said - for example, in the West, women have always had a more leading role than in the Middle East in societies. Some of it may come from the Teutonic tribal traditions where women would fight at the front line alongside their husbands. Don't ask me why that was I have no idea but it is historical fact. Crazed blue-painted half-naked warrior women. But even pre-Germanic Ancient Roman and Greek women wielded a lot of power.
But in terms of a coherent traditional family unit being the basis for a strong society you are absolutely 100% correct. Divorce, and more specifically the EASE of divorce has had a large role to play in undermining traditional Western society - that's coming from someone from a broken home!
