How do you know that ?
Why is that so ?

There is a group of about a dozen posters on HC, some of whom could be the same person with multiple nicks as they often support each other within minutes, who never miss a chance to denigrate the US and support Saddam and/or Islam.

Most of what they post is selective half truths presented in a way to support their side, and it makes me wonder what their true motives are. They usually talk peace but spew out hatred of western ways, our society and democratic political system.

Even with all it's many faults I think our system and society is light years ahead of the Middle Eastern Islamic style of living. Those people still live in the dark ages compared to us, and they are brainwashed from birth to support their system/religion and to hate everyone else.

Even politically, would you prefer our sad lot of mostly incompetant politicians or have warlords ruling us like many of the middle eastern countries. Our often unfair system of justice or some form of sharia law dispensed absolutely and without mercy?

Think about the western world and think about the rest.......I know which one I would prefer, warts and all.

Sheesh, outside the west we would face arrest and torture for much of the political comment made here on Hot Copper.

People would do well to stop a lot of this holier than thou moralizing crap that goes on and decide where their priorities really are and open their eyes. Of course that might be unpleasant and upset some of your cherished beliefs, though that will be nothing compared to what would follow the collapse of western society which some of you seem to want so much.
