Did a fellow called Gordon tell you this?
I called the office and spoke with Gordon on two occassions - even though i called Peter Collery's number. As it turn out, he likes to tell a good story.
I accidentally spoke with him at some very unsteady times and i wish i never had. He personally convinced me to stay in MAE due to this and that rumour of pending positives. The price was about 70 cents then...
i stayed in and lost the lot, in all practicality.
(Some people think they are the only ones who have suffered here, but there are many of us and we are all awaiting a result).
Gordon appeared to know so much that on the first occasion i thought he must have been a director, but he was a washed up nobody with factual deprivation issues from what i can gather. There is no other logic to apply to what i heard and the actual outcomes. BEWARE OF RUMOURS ABOUT UNSTABLE COMPANIES.
If it is him, my suggestion is that you don't listen to him for he will be giving you investment advice that is not qualified and which via my previous naivety i discovered to be completely inaccurate anyway. As i did, if i was you i would report any such people to ASIC for contemporaneous notes on possible illegal 'grapevines' that hurt people.
I am being elaborate for i take this as a serious pportunity to curb another rumour about MAE that is DEFINITELY not a legal (or safe) avenue for obtaining investment advice.

    Please pay heed.

I would expect that the most important question for you is when will share holder value be restored...
My opinion is that it will take approx 2 years for old shareholders to regain confidence to accumulate (if and only if the company has activity with a pulse).
I believe it will take just as long for new investors to be introduced to MAE's sordid history while feeling they have exercised full due diligence and that they are investing with all the information and a measurable risk level.
I say it will take this long as it is virtually impossible to get a straight understanding of MAE Directors and Activities twists and squirms.

THEN... apart from the obvious positives that will come IF they ever produce meaningfully again, when the company paradigm appears less associated with saving its directors butts and mitigating share price depreciation and moves into NEW projects - i think then and only then will you see 5 - 10 cents under the current Shares on Issue figures.

It will take a lot of fresh air to clean up the share price. That fresh air may need to come from sacking each and every person who was related to MAE's current discourse.
This is not the first time they have appeared to be on death row, but resurrecting.

All the best with it, but please allow others to express what they know and think for this is deliberately a transparent, public forum, void of any real gagging and it is definitely not a righteous, shareholder only, private forum. If it was, new investors wouldn't be able to enter and explore due diligence. That's the best thing about Hot Copper - every opinion is welcome, within common curteosy guidelines.

    Cheers
