    Yes it probably is a token amount.

    Given the recent debacle/dispute with Pacer, a show of support wouldn't hurt.

    He didn't have to buy shares, he already has 4m, but in doing so he is giving a vote of confidence in SLR. Not a bad thing to do under the circumstances.
