Rovira is surprised that Azure is one of just two Australian miners operating in the region. "I think Australians are simply ignorant about the mineral potential in Mexico, unlike the Canadians, who have more than 350 companies operating there."

Azure's Promontorio gold-copper-silver project in Chihuahua is in the feasibility study stage. Rovira hopes to have an operating mine within two years and his instincts for the next big thing are on high alert. "I'm confident that in five years the company will be worth $100 million. And although it's true that in this case I didn't discover it, I'm sure I still have one or two major finds in me."
