The continuous disclosure interpretation guide says that "immediately" doesn't necessarily mean physically straight away; but rather, as soon as possible after the the opinion has been formed by the company. We all know that agreements can be finalised for all intents and purposes but can spend weeks sitting in the in-trays of company executives waiting to be formally executed (usually around their timetable) - until then legally there is no binding arrangement; however, all the sign-offs have been obtained and execution of the agreement is a mere formality. Perhaps our lot are at this stage hence no announcement - afterall, the last trading halt only happened when the LoI was physically signed.
