Below is a link on various tailing dam designs.

Based on the readings from this site RED may have utilised a centreline or modified centreline tailings dam design due to seismic risk and space limitations.

If somebody has experience designing/constructing tailings dams I would be interested in your thoughts on the type of tailings dam that may have been utilised.
