    Goodie, was about to post the same thing.

    I don't want to discredit his achievements because he has had a wonderful career. Also, i know he has had his success prior to taking on Man U, so he obviously is a good coach.

    However, I would love to see a stat of Man U's position on the ladder when the club managed to spend fair less than opposition clubs (if ever that happened in his career).

    If a coach of the NRL & AFL had an unlimited salary cap = choose whoever he wants would he too win a vast number of premierships. My guess is if I had the QLD backline + a few NSW origin forward + Sam Burgess + 3 or 4 of the best young kids, I would back myself to win a premiership.

    The Ceaser, I know you said he was very good at picking players to fit into his team, which he definitely was. But, having the cheque book to basically choose any player in the world somehow reduces that skill in my books.

    Please don't shout me down!!! I know he did some great things in Scotland and with other teams, so he is obviously a good coach.
