Yep Stapleman this is an excellent thread. Don't worry about moving on, chances are we'll all turn up on another Neon wannabe.

Giddyup's comments regarding a success at 105/120 and its implications for the wider Neon are very thought provoking.

First up any success at either site immediately upgrades the remaining target zones in that block.

Cash flow from an offshore discovery can take time though Block 105 being shallow could be brought into production within 12 months if permits and approvals allow.

If Neon wanted some early cash it could always raise debt against any discovery.

I imagine the effect of this would be to:

1/ Keep a larger share of the Indonesian acreage

2/ Develop Paris Valley without a farm in partner

3/ Develop Glau without a partner (probably be the case anyway.)

4/ Conduct extensive seismic to the east of NSA/Glau where they hold 12,000 acres

Then again if Vietnam is spectacular they could easily sell off the CA assets concentrating on picking up new acreage and following the Vietnam model to completion.

SB, I can't help but think the AR Presentation is going to hold some new info. Most likely the 3D seismic and Glau but maybe some thoughts on the Indo resource size.

As you say I would prefer they were announced independent of each other for maximum effect.
