Sunnyjim, I can't believe you wrote that the US won the war in Vietnam 'militarily'. The US LOST the Vietnam war, or did I just imagine the scenes of US choppers taking off from the roof of the Embassy with people hanging off them. You can rewrite history and blame Jane Fonda but you can't expect intelligent people to believe this nonsense.
I expect you thought that the US won in Korea and Somalia and nicaragua as well.
