Hi furniture
From the recent announcement:
"Dyesol is also confident of achieving industrial efficiencies greater than 10% because of the added simplicity of working with solid-state systems. At this level of module performance the technology will be grid competitive - the "holy grail" for renewable energy technologies."
"Dyesol has been working closely with R&D partner, the EPFL, and is confident of announcing further improvements in solid-state performance in the near term. Remarkably, solid-state performance is confidently expected to outperform all hitherto known and published liquid-based efficiencies."
The statements above from the recent announcement may give short term traders an opportunity to make money, medium term the decision from Tata (by the 31 July 2013) will either be very positive or very negative. I have no idea what Tata will decide.
I have held some shares since 2007 and I am sitting on losses but I am still hoping for a good outcome (I have traded some for a small profit). There has been plenty of hype but no revenue of any significance so far.
