Hello Torquepala,from what I've read of that case the Horse was not suited on the Wet track on the Day and it seems possible that the Jockey may not have known that and could well have been seeking the better going during the running of the Race and could therefore be, Innoncent. A Question is, what is that Jockey's overall record like?
It has been proven, that the connections did lay the Horse on Betfair etc., when it is possible they should have scratched the Horse, however the opportuniy to lay the Horse on Betfair was very attractive.The reason the Connections copped Three Months is obvious, and that is, they should have scratched the horse in the interests of racing, rather than look after their own Pockets. On this basis, it seems like Gai Waterhouse may cop One to Three Months Racecourse Day Suspension, for not advising Stewards of the Medications which More Joyous received and her Foreperson could look after the Stable for the Owners with horses in the Stable.
