A true sucker born every day. Fatsoh here quoting those companies that will benefit from this wasteful spend.

Of course the NBN is a wonderful thing, I have never argued against an NBN structure, I am against the proposed implementation of it. $100bill+ of Australian taxpayer's dollars. If I was looking from afar, oh I don't know let's say looking out the window on the 23rd floor of a UN office, well of course I would be spouting what a wonderful thing it is. But I ain't paying for it, am I? You talk about ideology. Well ideology is wasting loads of taxpayers money, money that is required elsewhere as we slowly sink into mounds of debt, on an NBN scheme covering 10s of thousands of square kilomtres to provide most homes with a FTTN for speeds that the majority don't need and never will need except for a glorified TV streaming function.

Fatsoh, you might be good at copying and pasting but you know sweet all on this subject based on your previous arguments. So let me reiterate again, everywhere else in the world, private enterprise is playing a major role in building NBN networks. It creates competition AND prevents a monopoly, which is what our final solution will be if allowed to continue to the end point. All mute of course, because Labor's NBN policy is dead and buried a the next election.
