normally failure sends the price down abot 50-60% on the announcement. in this case though, i'm expecting that the imminent block 120 drill will support the price a little if 105 fails. the NEN manager has said he is very confident of finding gas in the well anyway so all good!

as for the $2 success case - well that puts the company at a bit over a billion bucks market cap. i agree that a massive gas find in shallow water with a market sitting right there would warrant such a result. i just cant get over this average market though. its so dissapointing. even now there are hardly any buyers. i'll be happy with $1 on success.
