If you look beyond the genocidal eugenics of the 1930s Germany national socialists to the Lysenkoism of communists of Soviet Russia you can see the same corruption and distortion of the scientific process and "consensus" science by overriding political directives...
Just basic history but obviously hard for youngsters to comprehend...
